I dont think you would have seen all my Master Chef India 2 pictures had I uploaded them at Blogspot ..though it is a free account after 15 pictures I have to  enter a code .. as it  says

Blogger says that this blog has been rate-limited. Please try again later.

I have a permanently damaged right hand so imagine my agony I type with one finger and so Flickr is best if you have a Pro Account US $25  per year , unlimited posting and from Flickr you can cross blog to any other blog platform that is Wordpress Blogspot Tumblr Live Journal..

Supposing you dont renew your  Pro membership than only a certain number of your pictures will be seen .. to see all of them you have to revive your Pro membership.. there are many advantages please check up the Flickr FAQ... you also can circle your pictures for family , friends or pictures only you can see and no one else..

I began blogging in 2005 but on Flickr since 2007 thanks to Magic Eye and I dont regret my choice of Flickr as a blog site though some still think it is a archive or picture gallery ..

Another advantage in case you want you can decativate your Flickr account like Facebook retrieve it again..or if you delete it in anger it still is kept for you for a limited time..

I have posted my views on my new post.. at Flickr do read it

Mr Firoze when you commercialise obviously Flickr or any other platform is ideal for storage of photos.  I find blogger platform ideal for posting blog photos.  There are no particular issues. Smile

Umesh Hi

Mr Firoze when you commercialise obviously Flickr or any other platform is ideal for storage of photos.

I am an amateur photographer I began my blogging life at Blogspot and Buzznet never much cared for Flickr , but when my Buzznet site got hacked I came to Flickr to house my pictures my son gave me a Pro gift .. I am not a commercial photographer I dont sell my pictures I dont even print my pictures not even of my grand daughters .. I dont give my pictures but I have to a few Indi Bloggers on request..

For people who blog like me than a Pro account is good provided one can afford it , it is US $25 the following year my American guru gavve me 2 years Pro membership Dr Glenn Losack MD one of the finest photographers of New York.. now part of my family..

This year another person who liked my stuff gifted me the Pro membership..

Blogspot is very good I dont deny it but I dont like WordPress or Blogspot.. personal opinion and discretion I am addicted to Flickr ..and Flickr does nothing for me .. no extra perks mind you but its Ok.. Thanks So now you have my view..

I had a Firoze Shakir.com I gave it up could not afford Rs 6000 per year..and I dont promote my profession via my blogs never.. I promote India and colors of India..
