Nice blog, Hemal. I think you have a great layout, and it must've taken ages to design/implement. I liked reading the posts too, because being a non-techie, it's good to learn something new.

Just one suggestion, though. I felt that the title of each post was being displayed in too large a font. Perhaps, if you feel so, it could be reduced. What say?

Thanks Sumit. The Design is not orignally mine, I have to agree. Its a WP theme called Pixeled. I had tweeked it a bit here and there. 

I had purposely increased the title text as I felt it was looking good with the over all layout. A lot of ppl have told me about this and I think its time to heed... Well, I would bring it down a bit and lets c.

Hi Folks,

I have changed the font size of the title... Hope you like it more now!!!

I am used to a resolution of 1280 and hence, I felt it looked cool...

firstly, i really love ur template. u may hav adapted it frm wp but may i say that u have really good taste!

and the holi creations are totally fab. i really love the colors :)

Hey! Love the design but I suggest that the fonts be changed to something more beautiful, if you may. Verdana, Trebuchet or Calibri :) Otherwise, awesome design and unfortunately I cant hide my apathy towards your topic of interest - Economics :(

Thanks Anup... I like the Georgia, and feel it is readable. I feel this font goes well with overall design. Trebuchet may be an option, but it is second choise only after Georgia. 

I hated economics in schools and colleges, and do it now as well. Economics is not the interest, it is Economy. A blog from a common man's view. And yes, i am the common man.

@Hemal,

I will not ask you to change the font size of the headings, as that has been said earlier.

I liked your template, and specially the flash tag cloud. Is it specific to WP, or can I get it for my blogger account also?

One suggestion - give a line's space between "Share and Enjoy:" and the icons - right now thwy are kind of overlapping.

Thanks Hasir for your comments... The flash tag is for WP, but you can get similar one for Blogger also i think... just google it.

let me see if i can change that... it is a plugin i had installed from the WP directory...

Thank you very much for your review, and yes it makes me feel exited that my blog has managed to attract so many people on design.

Are you talking about the content font size or the Title font size. My blog has had a title font size of 42 and I have alread brought down 32px.

Hi Hemal, Just came back from your blog and I have to say that the theme is very catchy but for me the white on black is a little harsh on the eyes, especially when you are reading difficult content. And I also got distracted by the many icons under the article. But that's just me.

Your writing style is like a news reporter, very neutral and unbiased and I like that. Will surely visit again.

And web designer and content manager - very enviable, would surely come back to you for design advice very shortly.

Thanks Ashwini for your review. Yeah, have been thinking of changing that theme for some time now, but you know, I am so soldout for this one that am hesitating myself. But sooner or later, you will see that change...

First, great title to ur page. I was digging for a title like this. strikes quite an impression, yours..

I really like the tag cloud widget. Is it one of those adv of a self hosted page or is it available for the .com pages as well? do let us know.

Read some of your posts, liked the LMN one as I can now look forward to tasting a new drink when I return in July. thanks for the info mate.

nice layout, the hues of blue and green seem to compliment the darkness quite well. makes the read a comfortable one.

First, Thank Varun for your comments.

The title was in my mind for more than 4 years, and started useing it for my blog only after i saw Lata Ventakesh's show on CNBC. I was thinking that it would be odd till that time...

The Tag Cloud. It is a flash tag and hence, as i know, you cannot use it on the Wp.com blogs. Limitations, you see.

Hi Hemal,

I've to say that personally, I would like the title of the post to reduce by a LOT! Right now, its a bit jarring.

Loved the flash tag cloud so much I got myself one too! :) Also picked up a photo widget to display my sketches and graphs more prominently as you suggested.

Like the numerous sharing options you've provided. Especially 'Digg'. Again, could the size be reduced a bit, especially since you've got some pretty short posts. Also, aren't the number of options provided for sharing a bit too many? How many get used often?

Can't you have the google friend follower kinda thing on your blog?

Overall nice work! Will be visiting often. :)

Hey, thanks for keen observation.

If you want to just reduce the title, I suggest just buy a domain name and link it to Blogspot. That would save you hosting cost.

Sharing Options: I have a global audiance and different people use different sharing options. So, I dont think the need to reduce it. Even though most of 'em are not used too frequently, I would still want my visitors to have the convienience of find their favorite right there!

I have a hosted Wordpress. So, I dont know if I can get a Google Follower thing on my Blog. If so, would give it a thought.
